Our client PROTEA HOTEL requires the services of a suitable candidate for this position.
• Check customer’s identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
• Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
• Follow customers to their tables
• Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
• Inform customers of daily specials.
• Have good communication skills
• Be able to gain people’s confidence and put them at ease
• Be persuasive, persistent and patient
• Look smart
• Be able to cope with pressure
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Have a mature personality
• Minimum qualification SSCE/ND
